It's often understated how important the proper equipment is on your journey to getting big and healthy in the gym. Little accessories can go a long way to ensuring safety and keeping you in lifting condition!

Whether that's something like knee sleeves, belts, arm  wraps, wrist wraps, straps, or the shoes on your feet: they all have their uses. It's up to you to know when it's appropriate for you to use them!

I would consider weightlifting shoes one of the most important though, because two of the three compound lifts directly rely on your feet. You don't have to break the bank though.

Cheap weightlifting shoes often are just as good as expensive ones. You just have to know the right factors to look for, like if you want a raised heel, what material you prefer etc. Expensive brands have some good shoes out there on the market, but they are far from necessary.
